REVIEW: SUPERFACIALIST ANTI BLEMISH CLAY MASK

September 5th, 2014 / Stephane

At some point or another our skin gets blemished. Life’s way of leaving it’s mark I guess!

Whether it be from popping those zits, spots leaving scars or just having extra sensitive skin, we wanted to see if there was a protective way to get rid of the dark scars on your face.  We decided to give the Superfacialist clay mask from Una Brennan a try.

For those not familiar with the brand, Una Brennan is one the most accomplished facialists and skincare specialists in the UK. She’s been running the beauty industry for 15 years and is recognised in the beauty world as one of London’s best kept secrets.

The mask is set for clearing your skin of dirt, excessive oils and toxins which lead to those unwanted breakouts.

The mask also has Salicylic Acid, this helps your skin in unclogging the congested pours and the oil-absorbing Dead Sea Mud is rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron for the perfect detox facial.

You can instantly feel the thickness in the mask once you put it on your face. The solution is full of avocado oil rich in Vitamins A, D and E with Acacia Honey. This is said to further help skin rebalance itself to reveal a clearer, refreshed-looking complexion.

I applied it to my face after throughly cleaning both my face and neck, steering clear of my eyes too. I then went on and added a really generous amount to my face to maximise the hydrating benefits. It dries hard within 5 mins and I had to remove the mask from my face.

I can honestly say I am throughly impressed with this mask. It smells fresh and my spot scars over the past 4 weeks have really faded away. It feels great on my skin, unlike some masks which leave your skin tingly or feeling stripped, my face felt nourished and hydrated.

A definite recommended beauty buy from me! Visit Boots now to get your hands on one now for just £8.99!!!
