Calling all lovers of Pan Asian cuisine! Canary Wharf restaurant, Plateau has launched a selection of Korean bar snacks, inspired by general manager, Kim Sin Tae.
Plateau Bar & Grill is teaming up with Korea Foods to launch a selection of special Korean dishes.
Looking to spice up the casual-dining Bar & Grill menu for summer, Plateau’s general manager has taken inspiration from his Korean upbringing and worked closely with Korea Foods, the largest importer of Korean food in Europe, to create an interesting range of dishes reflecting memories from his childhood. Dishes will include Doenjang pork skewers, Gochuchang-rubbed pork ribs and a Korean fish platter with grilled soy prawn skewers, chilli spiced rice balls, mini fishcakes, chips and kimchi mayo. The flavours nod to Kim’s hometown of Chung-Ju in Korea. Available from August, guests will be able to experience a personal taste of Kim’s heritage within the welcoming and relaxed ambience of his hospitality.
Overlooking Canada Square, Plateau’s Bar & Grill is the perfect place to people watch over a leisurely Saturday brunch, enjoy brisk business lunches and post-work-come-pre-dinner drinks and bar bites throughout the week. The menu will also be available to enjoy in the Bar & Grill’s pop-up Nyetimber English Garden terrace, which has its own dedicated Nyetimber bar and an array of lush foliage and elegant potted plants.
