Sings, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!”
Guys and dolls the countdown is on, the Christmas lights, 25 days till Christmas and London is about to embark on its coldest winter in 60 odd years! How exciting! So it was very exciting when I got invited to the Bliss Spa Press Day to try out their new Christmas menu and oh boy, was it a treat!
Bliss Spa is renowned for delivering the world’s best facials, massages, waxing and nail services, so I was confident I was in for a treat. First up, off to the changing rooms where a cotton dressing gown and slippers were waiting for me. Now this changing room is every girls dream. Kitted out with Bliss Branded cremes and moisturisers it has its own GHD straightens and blow dryer bar. Lush!
So I was off to get my facial. I got the 30 minute ‘Pre Party Perk Up’ facial. My skin was left feeling soft, unclogged and was given the chance to finally breathe. The facial is said to improve skin elasticity, hydration, tone and give you that all important glow! I certainly felt that. The masseuse talked me through each product as she was applying it to my face in detail and how it was treating my skin. I certainly felt like a princess being pampered and more importantly could after see the results. It’s so important during this cold weather to keep your skin well moisturised and give it the extra treatment here and there. At just £65 this is definitely a must have treatment for you dolls this festive season – think of it as an investment.
Next up its nails. I got the ‘Snow Wonder’ manicure. This is definitely highly recommended. It’s always refreshing when you go for a treatment and feel like the manicurist or beautician knows what they are doing, and at Bliss Spa they certainly do. Once I had sat at my station, my manicurist brought out a fresh set of appliances to prepare my nails, this is a standard practice across the board at Bliss Spa. Each client has a fresh new set of nail files, nail cutter, buffer and nail shaper, meaning no one else has or will use the same appliances (5 Stars treatment ey).
My hands were feeling chic and looked shimmery, my nails were filed and shaped using our sterilized diamancel files. Then my hands were placed into a warm hand cream wrap, followed by a slow invigorating massage with our snow wonder hand cream. My now soft and moisturised cuticles were pushed back and groomed to perfection! Yes honey, perfection!
The manicure lasted 30 minutes and was the perfect way to end our overall session. During the cold weather our hands can get really dry and hard so making time to have an manicure keeps our mittens in good condition. I then chose an Essie nail polish inspired by the festive season to seal the deal.
I really had a blast at the Bliss Spa, everything from the service to the actual treatments was lush at 100%. So if you’re looking to be spoiled or spoil yourself, there is an extensive list of facials and treatments that are best suited to your skin and preference, so dolls I would definitely recommend getting dolled up at Bliss Spa this Christmas.
