Here it is finally! The last installment of S.O.A.R titled the Renewed Mind. In Still Your Soul, my focus was remaining centered internally in the face of imminent change. Open Your Heart chronicled the beginning of my discovery of the active journey to learn to receive love. In Almost There we focused on remaining persistent in the face of adversity and failures to obtain your goals. These lead to R: The Renewed Mind.
The Renewed Mind gives us the capacity to succeed, because everything that we purpose ourselves to do starts within our minds. Remaining centered in God’s love and remaining assured of that love in spite of opposition brings us to a greater sense of identity- empowering us to live the life we were destined to live.

Guys, God not only created us in His own image- He made us like Him, and not only that, He called us GOOD. I’m going to let that sink in… What would happen if we believed that? How would our relationship to self change? How would our value for people change? What if we actually believed what God said about us?
Jealousy, hate, competition and low self esteem would cease to exist if we actually believed we were unique and valuable. There is a special piece of God’s nature, power and creativity He’s chosen YOU exclusively to exhibit to the world. Recognizing this enables you to honor that in others. Upon achieving this understanding, you cease to view people as a threat, a means to get something or simply insignificant, but you are empowered to celebrate them because God chose them just as He chose you.
1 John 3:1-2, What marvellous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we’re called children of God! That’s who we really are.
That’s who we really are! What will you allow to define you? The consistent unconditional love of God or the consistently inconsistent changing opinion of the world? You see, where every three months the fashion trends and technology change, with Jesus we are always “in” and never become obsolete. We are always loved and called lovely in His sight.
It’s a challenge to allow ourselves daily do so, but I dare you today to love God into loving yourself. You are not your shortcomings or your past. You are worthy of love because God loves you. Stop comparing yourself to others or disqualifying yourself because of what you’re not- and allow God to bless what you are. Then and only then will be empowered to SOAR! Allow your mind to be renewed so you can receive your true identity, and the impossibilities you are meant to overcome as His Child. Let God show you how great you are so you can become the greatest you can be. God bless you my BIRDIES!! Time to take to the sky and fly.
